Stacks and Flows participates in affiliate marketing programs. This page explains, in plain English, exactly how that works.

What this means

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and then sign up for, subscribe to, or purchase a product, Stacks and Flows may earn a commission. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or not 鈥?affiliate commissions come out of the vendor’s marketing budget, not your wallet.

How we mark affiliate links

Affiliate links carry the HTML attribute rel="sponsored" so search engines and ad blockers can identify them.
Articles that contain affiliate links carry an inline disclosure banner near the top, in addition to this site-wide page.
Outbound links pass through a click-tracker only for the affiliate program’s own attribution; we do not sell or share click data with anyone else.

Our commitments

We only recommend tools we have personally tested or evaluated against publicly verifiable evidence.
We never raise a tool’s ranking because its commission is higher. When two tools are comparable, we say so.
We never accept payment to publish a positive review or to remove a negative one.
We never pretend to have used a tool we have not used.

What we do not do

We do not run paid placements disguised as editorial.
We do not sell or rent our subscriber list.
We do not buy reviews, ratings, or testimonials.
