Stacks and Flows is an independent, vendor-neutral directory and review site focused on AI agents and workflow automation. We help builders, operators, and curious humans find, compare, and combine the right tools across platforms like n8n, Make, Zapier, Pipedream, HeyGen, Synthesia, and the broader AI agent ecosystem.

Our editorial stance

We are anti-lock-in. Most “best tool” lists pretend there is one right answer. There isn’t. Real-world automation almost always lives in a stack 鈥?a workflow tool plus a model API plus a few SaaS pieces glued together. So we recommend combinations, not winners, and we work hard to make every individual recommendation portable enough that you can swap it out later without rewriting your business.

We do not run “X is dead, switch to Y” content. We run “here is when X makes sense, here is when Y makes sense, and here is the migration cost between them” content.

Who runs Stacks and Flows

Stacks and Flows is operated by an independent team of practitioners who build and ship automations day to day.
